It's a Money Thing
We are excited to offer a FUN way to educate yourself and others in your life about financial literacy! From youth to adults, there are sure to be many topics that you’ll be interested in learning more about by watching short & lighthearted videos.
Hey educators! See something you’d like to present in your classroom - either in person or virtually? We have lesson plans, handouts, and more that you can use however it works for you.
Mad City Money
Mad City Money is a simulation for students (typically high school) that teaches basic money management in a safe, fun setting.
The hands-on simulation appeals to teens and gives them a taste of the real world—complete with occupation, salary, spouse, student loan debt, credit card debt, and medical insurance payments. The students may get an instant family and then they move around to the different stations to purchase housing, transportation, food, clothing, household necessities, day care, and other needs.
Are you interested in hosting a Mad City Money reality fair? There is no cost to you or the school. Use our website contact form to ask for more information.
*Classroom presentations currently on hold due to Covid-19. Please reach out for more information.
Workshops & Seminars
From time to time we offer learning sessions for our members ranging in topics from senior fraud to college planning. We are always adding to our calendar so check our website often for updates.
If you would like a more personal one on one session about your specific financial situation, we have partnered with LSS Financial Counseling to assist our members.
*In person workshops currently on hold due to Covid-19, but we have resources and can guide you in many ways. Contact us for information.
